We should have guessed the minute Katie Holmes stepped out in H&M's Comme Des Garcons' polka dot collection or when the first model in polka dot print hit the spring 2009 runways at Michael Kors that polka dots would be everywhere come spring!

Designers from Betsey Johnson, Marni, ADAM, DKNY, House of Holland, Jaeger London, Giles, Louis Vuitton and of course Michael Kors all featured polka dots and spotted prints on their Spring 2009 runways. The traditional black and white spots were mixed with multi-colored dots as designers played connect the dots with their spring collections.
